Description

Quitclaim from Isabella and Joan daughters of Richard Chowhe, spinsters, to Henry called Baker (Pistori) of Coventr' of all their right to 12 pence annual rent from the house of Walter de Hibern' outside `barram episcopi Coventr'' [Bishops Gate, Coventry], lying between the lane leading towards the mill of Hulle and the land of John Tole; and for this the said Henry gives 10 shillings. Witnesses: Robert de Stokes, steward, Robert de Chilton', William le Parkere, Thomas le Mowbrey, John Tole, John Pyhot, Walter le Coupere, Richard Mynnyht and many others. Dated at Coventr': Thursday next after the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 21 Edward I. Two green seals on tags: i) circular. A star of eight points.
