Description

Discharge from Richard Bowater of Whitley in Coventry, esq., and Mary Bowater of the same, spinster, one of the nephews and the niece of Henry Bowater, late of London, esq. deceased, to Edward Bowater of Whitley esq. brother of the said Richard and Mary, the other nephew of the said Henry Bowater, and the administrator of the goods of the same, (reciting that the said Henry had died intestate on 3 November 1734 and that administration of his goods had been granted to the said Edward, and reciting that his personal estate after the payment of debts amounted to £659.3s.9d.), for £219.1s.3d. apiece, of all their claims to any part of the said personal estate. Annexed is a schedule of the administrator's account. The personal estate amounted to £3165.16s.11d. of which £2508.13s.2d. was paid out by the administrator to satisfy creditors etc. Disbursements include £1851.11s.9d. to settle debts.
