Description

Gift from John Buntable, Richard Wikyn chaplain, and William Collevyle of Coventr' dubber, to Thomas Charite and Elizabeth his wife of a messuage in Coventr' at the bridge of Gosford' on the south side between the stream and the land formerly belonging to John de Sibbesdon' which messuage the grantor had by the grant of Agnes widow of Richard Knolles of Coventr'; to hold the said messuage to the said Thomas and Elizabeth and the heirs of the body of the said Elizabeth of the chief lord of the fee with remainder in default of such issue to the said William Collevyle and Joan his wife for their lives and the life of the survivor of them, with remainder to Joan Northewode of Coventr' and John her son and the heirs of the said John for ever. Witnesses: John Esturton', mayor of Coventr', Henry Breux and Robert Melburn', bailiffs of the same, William Donyngton', John Dilcok, Richard Acton' and others. Dated at Coventr' 9 June, 10 Henry V.
