Description

Gift with warranty from William Pykerell' of Stretton' super Fosse to Dom William Pykerell', chaplain, his son, and Margery, mother of the grantee, of a messuage with an adjacent curtilage and one acre of arable land with appurtenances in Styvechale; which messuage with curtilage lies between the land of Alan de Canleye and the `vertice' called Carteresgrene in breadth, and extending in length between the land of the said Alan on both sides; and half an acre lies in Meredene between the land of the lord of Pyneleye and the land of Thomas de Barewe; and half an acre in le Parkfeld' between the land of the lord of Pyneleye and the land of Geoffrey de Whyteleye; to hold to the said Dom William and Margaret for 12 pence paid annually in lieu of all secular services. Witnesses: Roger le Heyr of Styvechale, Thomas de Barewe of the same, Thomas bailiff of the same, Thomas Vyel of Coventr', Thomas the clerk and others. Dated at Stretton' super Fosse Wednesday next after the feast of St. Edmund, 17 Edward III Tag, seal lost.
