Description

Gift with warranty from John Russel of C[oventry] to Roger son of Hugh `cissoris' of Coventr' of two acres of land in Styveschale which the grantor had by the gift of Geoffrey le L[ef], namely one acre lying between the land of Sir John de [Langley and the land of ------] and extending in length from [------------]; half an acre next le Sydg[ard with the adjacent headland lying between the land of Sir John de Langley and the] land which Robert son of Hugh Preest once held [and extending in length] as far as a meadow called Carsewellemedwe; [and half an acre lying between the land of Sir John de Langley] and the land of Geoffrey de Whyteleye [and extending in] length from le Wodetonwesslade as far as Heetmulne weye; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee.
