Stoneleigh rectory and tithes

Description

Agreement between Thomas Leigh of Stoneleigh, esq., and Robert Fitch of Allesley (`Awseley'), gent. Reciting that Leigh is seized of the rights to the tithes of the parsonage of Stoneleigh and Robert Fitch has an estate called Allesley Park, part of which lies within the parish of Stoneleigh for which 3s 4d has been paid at Lammas in lieu of tithes time out of mind. Parties now agree that Allesley Park, shall be tithe-free other than the payment of the sum of 3s 4d annually in perpetuity.
