Description

Agreement between Robert Knight of Barrels esq. and Edward Cooper of Henley-in-Arden for lease to the latter of a farm called Fosters and Shreeves closes in Ullenhall and a messuage then used as offices with several enclosures of pasture land, orchard and outbuildings in Henley-in-Arden then in the occupation of the said Edward Cooper, except timber, mines and quarries and game, to hold for one whole year from March 25th last and thereafter from year to year at six months' notice at a yearly rent of £122, paying also £100 p.a. for every acre of meadow or pasture ploughed up for tillage, and the same for every acre sowed with flax, rape, hemp or other pernicious seeds, with husbandry conditions (specified), the tenant to do two days customary labour for the landlord yearly with a team of four horses, a man and a boy, not more than 14 miles from the premises.
