Gift with warranty from Henry le Baxtere of Coventr' and Agnes his wife, to Thomas de Colleshull' of Coventr' of a messuage which lies in the street `del Heylone' in Coventr' between the tenement of John le Taverner and the tenement of Richard de Wodebourne; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: Roger le Bray bailiff of Coventr', Jordan de Shepeye, Roger le Hunte, John Warde, John de Shepeye, Richard de Wyncestre, Walter de Wilye clerk, and others. Dated at Coventr', Monday in the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 12 Edward III. Two white seals on a split tag: i) circular. A merchant's mark (?) Legend indecipherable. ii) A shield bearing a chevron. Legend indecipherable. Tags part of an earlier Coventry document. Endorsed: Heylane [AG]
