Copy mortgage by Charles Selwyn Gough, Banbury, gent., to William Crowther, Aston Somerville, Glos., gent., to secure £400 of 1/7 share in messuage and 4 acres in Souldern in occupations Sarah and Louisa Gough; and in 3 cottages in occupations James Finch, William Fox and John Pitts; in Chesnells Farm house and 197 acres in occupation Thomas Jones and 8 acres in occupation Charles Clifford, derived under will, 3 November 1837 (proved 1839) of Richard Drope Gough, Souldern, Oxon., esq., who devised real estate equally among the 7 sons of his brother William Gough, subject to the life interest of testator's 4 sisters, Emma, Sarah, Caroline and Louisa, of whom Sarah and Louisa survive.
