Description

Lease from Sir Henry Rainsforde of Clifford Chambers, knight, William Barnes esq., Charles Vyne and Edward Browne (husbandmen and Town Proctors of the lands belonging to the said town of Clifford) and John Browne, William Cale, John Hobbins, Richard Browne and Richard Wilkes, to John Pirkins of Stratford-on-Avon fellmonger, of a messuage or tenement in Bridgestreet in a place there called the Middle Row now in the tenure of the said John Pirkins, lying between the tenements late belonging to Anthony Nayshe, gent., or Thomas Jelffe, his servant, on the East side, and the tenement being the town land of Clifford now in the tenure of Edward Noble on the West side, for twenty-one years at a yearly rent of two shillings. Witnesses: John Tallants, William Martin and William Hewes.
