Assignment from Edward Smith of Hems Green in the parish of Tanworth and Joseph Smith of Nuthurst, labourer (the only children and next of kin of William Smith late of Bearley, stonemason, deceased) and their mortgagee, John Smith of Pathlow in the parish of Aston Cantlow, victualler (son and executor of William Smith late of the same place, labourer, deceased) to William Weight of Bearley, yeoman (reciting ER3/2667 and ER3/2672 and reciting that the principal sum of £12 and interest remained unpaid and reciting that upon account stated between John Smith and Edward and Joseph Smith it appeared that there was owing to John Smith £18 12s 2d for principal and interest) for £26 (£7 7s. 10d to Edward and Joseph Smith and £8 12s 2d to John Smith) of the residue of the term of 1000 years in the premises described in ER3/2667 and ER3/2672, then in the occupation of John Lane. Witnesses: Edward Cooper, William Penn and Thomas Cooper.
