Description

Assignment from John Ayshcombe of the Grange, Bidford, gent., and Nicholas Horniblow of Alcester, ironmonger, to John Monroe of Tutnell, co. Worcs., yeoman (reciting that Richard Martin of London, victualler, son and heir of John Martin of Warwick, yeoman, deceased and nephew and heir of Richard Martin, late of Handsworth, gent., deceased, by indenture dated 25 March 1692, mortgaged to William Stringfellow of London, clerk, for £200 the premises described in ER3/2656-2657 and reciting that, by indenture dated 23 March 1693, the said William Stringfellow assigned his mortgage to Richard Lardner of London, gent., and reciting that the said Richard Lardner advanced a further £50 to Richard Martin, and reciting that Richard Lardner, in consideration of £265 then owing to him, by indenture dated 3 April 1706, assigned his mortgage, by direction of Richard Martin and Thomas Attwood, to John Ayshcombe and Nicholas Horniblow in trust for Thomas Attwood to the intent that the said term of 1000 years should attend the inheritance) of the term of 1000 years in the premises described in ER3/2656-2657 in trust for Thomas Hopkins of Cookhill in Inkberrow, co. Worcs., to attend the freehold which was intended to be that day conveyed to him by Edward Attwood of Great Alne, gent. (ER3/2656-2657). Witnesses: William Whissell and Richard Busman.
