Description

Lease from John Wilkinson of Ansty, clerk, John Farndon of Wolston, yeoman and Thomas Cawdell of Hopsford, yeoman, to George Morrice of Ansty, yeoman (reciting a lease dated 14 November 1667 from the Dean and Canons of the King's Free Chappel of St. George within the Castle of Windsor to the said John Wilkinson, John Farndon and Thomas Cawdell of certain messuages and ten yardlands and a half in Ansty in the occupations of Edward Farndon, Henry Jephcott, Jonathan Ballard, William Jephcott, Enoch Smith, John Knibb, Thomas Farndon, Daniel Pettifer, Isaac Knibb, Joshua Clarke, George Morrice and William Normanton, for 21 years at a rent of £15 per annum and 12 bushells of wheat upon trust that they should grant leases of 21 years to each of the respective tenants) of one messuage in Ansty then in the occupation of the said George Morrice, and several closes in Ansty to the said messuage appertaining, being a half yard land, for a term of 20 years 11 months and 3 weeks at a yearly rent of £13 10s 0d. per annum and 12 bushells of wheat.
