Lease and Release, the Release being a Conveyance from Whing Canning alias Wing Canning of Halford, gent., one of the sons of Nathaniel Canning of Blackwell in Tredington, co. Worcester, gent., deceased, brother of John Canning of Upper Eatington [Ettington], yeoman, deceased, and Thomas Evans of Long Acre, co. Middlesex, gent., to Henry Stanyford of Friday Street, London, gent., of two messuages, lands and premises and three yard lands and a quarter in Halford, now free from all equity of redemption of a mortgage with interest and costs amounting to £863 8s. 3d. owed by the said Whing Canning to the said Henry Stanyford according to a decree in Chancery. Consideration: £20. Signed and sealed by Whing Canning and Thomas Evans. Witnesses: John Bedford, Master of the Crown and Rolls, Chancery Lane, and William Hippisley, clerk to Mr. Stanyford.
