Office copy of the Will of William Prestidge of Lower Brailes, gent. Bequests: To Walter Evans of Brailes, clerk, and Joseph Hunt of Shipston-upon-Stower [Shipston-on-Stour] co. Worcester, gent., £500 to purchase land, the proceeds from which to be used for the benefit of the poor of Brailes. To his kinsman Timothy Sherman of London vintner, an annuity of £30 to be charged upon his estate. To his kinsman John Randolf of Fleet Street London, vintner £50. £50 to the daughter of Robert Ainger silkdyer. £50 to the said Joseph Hunt. To John Rimell the younger of Brailes, yeoman, 2 cottages in Brailes in the occupation of Richard Bishop and Joseph Walker. Residue of estate to the said Walter Evans who is appointed Executor. Witnesses: Bartholomew Horseman; Thomas Parry and John Edkins. Will proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 7 October 1733.
