Bargain and Sale and Feoffment dated 1 February 1674/5 (Old style) [1675], from Katherine Plestoe of Preston upon Stower [Preston-on-Stour] co. Gloucester, formerly of Foxcott [Foxcote] widow and Edward Plestoe of Admington, co. Gloucester, son and heir of the said Katherine, to Edward Caninge the elder of Upper Eatington [Ettington], butcher, of a messuage and appurtenances in the occupation of John Hobbins and formerly in occupation of Thomas Rose of Halford, yeoman, together with one and a half yardlands all in the parish of Halford. The said Grantees appointing Edmund Mason of Halford,gent., Attorney to deliver Seisin. Consideration: £361. The mark of Katherine Plestoe and the signature of Edward Plestoe. Two tags for seals.
