Description
Lease and Release, the Release being a Conveyance from Henry Bargess of the parish of St. Margaret, Westminster gent., and Anne, his wife, widow of Martin Bedwell of the same place, mealman, deceased, and Mary Bedwell of the same place, spinster, only daughter and heir of the said Martin Bedwell and Anne, his former wife, to Richard Rose of Ilmington alias Ilmingdon, yeoman, and John Thornett of Sutton, co. Gloucester, wheelwright, of a messuage and lands in Ilmington, formerly leased to Hannah Rose, mother of the said Richard in 1694 but in 1700 conveyed to the said Martin Bedwell. To hold to the said Richard Rose for ever paying the annual rent of 16s. 8d. to the said Mary Bedwell and suit of court etc. to the Manor of Ilmington. Consideration: £258.
