Description

Conveyance from Joseph Wilks of Winderton, yeoman, to Richard Wilks of Sibford, co. Oxford, yeoman and George Beere of Banbury, cattle dealer, of messuages, lands and premises in Winderton, upon Trust to pay an annuity of £20 16s. to Mary Colegrave of Winderton, now of Banbury, spinster, late mistress of the said Joseph Wilks and £400 on his death. Signed and sealed by the parties. Witnesses: Francis Francillon, attorney at law, Banbury and Francis Francillon the younger. Endorsed with a receipt by Mary Harris, wife of Walter Harris of Shipstead near Abingdon co. Berkshire, formerly Mary Colegrave, to George Beere, surviving Trustee of the above indenture, for £400 paid on the death of the said Joseph Wilks Dated 10 May 1878. Five papers enclosed dated 1878 relating to the above endorsement.
