Copy of the Will dated 12 March 1824, of Francis Findon of Shipston-upon-Stower [Shipston-on-Stour], gent., All his estate, real and personal, bequeathed to his son Frederick Francis Findon who in return placed £17,000 at his disposition. Bequests: to his wife, sister, sons Francis and William, grandson Francis and three granddaughters. Witnesses: William Allen, Catherine Ward William Mountford. Codicil dated 12 March 1824. Also Articles of Agreement dated 20 February 1824 between the said Francis Findon of Shipston-upon-Stower, gent., and the said Frederick Francis Findon, his son to pass on his business and the bulk of his property. Consideration: £17,000. Surrender to Frederick Francis Findon, Edward Eyre of Gray's Inn in the County of Middlesex and Thomas Stanley Hill of Compton Scorpion in the County of Warwick, gent. all his premises in Shipston-upon-Stour, Tidmington, Hook Norton, Shutford, Claverdon, Halford and Henley in Arden and others in cos.
