Assignment by William Best of Kenelworth [Kenilworth] clerk, to Richard Smith and Thomas Cattell, sons in law of the said William Best, of his interest and term of years in three messuages in Alcester held from the Rt. Hon. the Lord Brooke, which messuages were formerly in the possession of Penelope Morgan of Alcester, widow, deceased, and inherited by her five nieces Penelope, Jane and Anne Best, Barbara Smith and Jane Parsons. The said William Best purchased from the said Jane Parsons and her husband, Thomas Pyke of the parish of St. Andrews, Holborne, London, engraver and from Penelope Best and her husband, Richard Chamberlaine of Whitnash gent. their interest in the said messuages and inherited the interest of the said Anne Best upon her death.
