Description

Release and conveyance by Joseph Cresswell late of Redditch, co. Worcs., but then of Greenwich, co. Kent, gent., and his mortgagees (see DR 36/148-149, DR 36/150, DR 36/152, and DR 36/155-156) with the participation of James Stephens of Alcester, co. Warwick, staymaker, surviving trustee under the will of George Field of Alcester, deceased, to Robert Knight of Grosvenor Square, co. Middx., esq., and Robert Hugh Wilson Ingram of Denmark Hill, Camberwell, co. Surrey, esq., his nominal trustee in consideration of £500 paid to John Tite, £250 to William Welch Lea and Peter Wooldridge, £200 to Hannah Ingram, £450 to John Hardy and Henry Hawkes and £200 to Joseph Cresswell or £1600 in all of lands near Washford Bridge in the parish of Studley. Signed by the parties except Robert Knight and R.H.W. Ingram with seals. Witnesses: W.M. Fladgate, Richard Ratliffe; John Hillman; J.H. Whitaker; Robt: H. Hobbes, Chas.Jones.
