Description

Conveyance by Lease and Release from John Smith of Pathlow, victualler (only son, heir and devisee of William Smith, nephew and devisee of Robert Smith, late of Bearley, gent., deceased) to William Weight of Bearley, yeoman (reciting ER3/2676 and that there then remained owing on the mortgage to William Weight £85 13s 0d) for £64 7s 0d. paid by William Weight, as well also in consideration of the discharge of the above mentioned debt of £85 13s 0d, of a messuage in Bearley formerly in the occupation of Thomas Hemming, late of Richard Malins and then of Richard Hitchcox, and another messuage in Bearley theretofore in possession of William Smith, late of William Priest and then of William Bennett which last mentioned premises were devised to William Smith by Robert Smith. Witnesses: Thomas Lea and Joseph Price.
