Copies of deeds on one membrane of parchment (in order as written): i Grant by Walter de Aylesbury to Roger his son of the manor of Wydenhay in Solihull and lands in Tanworth, `le Shalle' and Birmingham. T: John de Lutbrokes, Poncenable de Somery, knights, Henry de Sydenhale, Simon de Manecestre, John de Clynton. Dated at Wydenhay, 25 June 1304 ii Grant by Philip de Aylesbury to Richard atte Grange, chaplain, of manor in vill of Edrycheston, together with lands, rents,tenants free unfree in Butlers Marston, Wydenhay, Dodeston, and Tanworth. T: John Jones, John Wedewesone, William Smyth, John Cyscote, William de le Heye. Dated 17 Aug 1354 iii Grant by Richard atte Grange, chaplain to Philip de Aylesbury and Agnes his wife of premises (as in ii). Same witnesses and date as ii iv Lease for life from Philip de Aylesbury to William atte Woode de Wodehous of the manor of Wydenhay with appurtenances, paying yearly 24 bushels of corn and 24 bushels of barley. Not dated. v Release by Roger, son and heir of Philip de Aylesbury to John Bukmore and Agnes his wife, of all his rights in half of the manor of Lapworth and in the lands and rents which were his father's in Wydenhay, Tanworth, Dodeston, Birmingham and Butlers Marston. T: John Broyne, Richard Parsons, John atte Grene. Dated at iv Grant by Roger de Lodbrokes, parson of the church of Lodbrokes, Thomas de Colyshull, chaplain, and William de Charyngdon to Sir John de Bysshopesdon [Bishopton], knight of their manor of Lapworth with appurtenances in Bishopswood, which they hold by feoffment from the said Sir John, together with those lands rents c which they hold by feoffment from Hugh son of Henry de Braundeston in Lapworth. After the death of Sir John, all the lands are to remain to Hugh son of Henry de Braundeston and Cristian his wife and their heirs. Dated at Warwick, 22 March 1333 vii Writ from Edward III to John Honston, chaplain and John Page of Tanworth to deliver to Philip de Aylesbury and Agnes his wife and Richard de Mountfort and Roesia his wife the manor of Lapworth with appurtenances which were granted to John de Bysshoppesdon for life with reversion to Hugh son of Henry de Braunston Cristian his wife [vi supra]. Agnes and Roesia being the daughters and heirs of Hugh and Cristian. Dated at Westminster, 20 Jan 1363/4
