Grant by John Hues of Stratford upon Auen, `skynner', and Elizabeth his wife, to John Gylberte, master, Roger Pagette, John Clopton, John Wager, John Bryghtwell, Thomas Wawnewryght, Richard Stowe and John Hoggekyns, aldermen, and William Smythe and John Corveser, proctors of the Gild of the Holy Cross etc. of Stratford, of a tenement in Stratford in Bruggestrete between tenements of the said John Gylberte and John Somer' of London, `barbour', and extending in length from the said street to the highway called Gylleputtes; and of a shop (with a room over it) in Middelrowe in the tenure of John Hoggekyns, `bocher', between two shops of the Gild in the tenures of John Curteys and William Curteys respectively Witnesses: John Oxton, `capitalis ballivus ville', John Clopton and Thomas Tasker, `constabularii', Richard Stowe and John Hawkesford, `subballivi', Roger Palmar, clerk of the Gild and many others Dated at Stratford, Thursday after the feast of All Saints, 17 Edward IV Two seals of red wax, broken and defaced
