Assignment from William Goodwin of Alscot in Warmington, gentleman, with the consent Elizabeth Remington, Arthur Burberry and Hannah his wife, Samuel Malkin and Martha his wife, Hannah Harvey, Thomas Hooke and Hannah his wife, and John Harvey (as in DR65/6) to Thomas Huckell of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, (reciting the will of Hannah Lord late of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow, dated 15 April 1700 whereby she bequeathed to the said William Goodwin a messuage and lands in Wasperton in the tenure of Benjamin Rawlins and Richard Rawlins, two messuages in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, in the tenures of Thomas Mills, butcher, and Richard Perks, alias Perkshouse, brazier, and several messuages and lands in Wilmcote in the tenures of Samuel Buckingham, John Halford, Hugh Nevill and --- Seamore, alias Salmon, widow, to hold in trust for her daughter Elizabeth and the heirs of her body; and reciting indentures of lease and release of 8 and 9 June 1700 whereby the said property was conveyed to the said William Good-win by recovery, to hold for 1000 years in trust to pay the debts and pecuniary legacies of the said Hannah Lord and reciting that Bartlett Mason of Old Stratford, gentleman, and Susannah Perkshouse of Stratford-upon-Avon, had contracted with Arthur Burberry etc., for the purchase of the property in Wilmcote and High Street Stratford) of the said term of 1000 years created by the recited indentures of 8 and 9 June 1700, in trust, as to the property in Wilmcote, for Bartlett Mason to attend the inheritance, and as to the property in High Street, for Susannah Perkshouse to attend the inheritance.
