Assignment from William Durling of Great Alne, labourer, (son of Edward Durling and Anne his wife), and Mathew Crowly of Kinwarton and Anne his wife (daughter of the said Edward and Anne Durling) to Thomas Godfrey of Beoley, labourer, for £10.12s.0d., of a cottage in Great Alne now in the tenure of William Durling, brother of the said Edward Durling; to hold for the residue of a term of 2000 years. With the following recitals: i) 10 June 1619: lease from George Smith of Great Alne, yeoman, George Greene of the same, yeoman, and Henry Hollys of Sambourne, yeoman, to Nicholas Reason of Haselor, of the said cottage for 2000 years ii) 8 May 1620: assignment from Nicholas Reason to George Greene of Newnham, husbandman iii) 17 June 1640: assignment from George Greene to Anne Howlett of Great Alne, widow, and Richard Howlett and Francis Howlett, her two sons iv) 20 November 1661: quitclaim from Francis Howlett of all his right in the said lease v) marriage of Edward Durling and Anne, daughter and only child of Richard Howlett, 16 Jan 1687 vi) 12 November 1712: DR333/9 vii) sale from Mathew Crowly and Anne his wife (neé Durling) to William Durling
