Conveyance by lease and release (lease missing) from Charles Henry Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon, esquire, to John Payton of the same, gentleman, for £137 12s 0d, of a piece of land called the Barn Ground, part of which is converted into garden ground, containing in all 3a 0r 28p, in Old Stratford, bounded on the north-east and north-west by land belonging to the Stratford Corporation and land of the Churchwardens of Stratford, on part of the south east by the Warwick Road, on the south and east by other land of Stratford Corporation, and on the south west and remaining part of the south east by land within the borough of Stratford-upon-Avon; which land was lately purchased, with other property, by Charles Hunt from the said John Payton and is now in the tenure of William Dester.
