A skin of parchment written on on both sides. On one side there is a portion of a heading "Expenses of the Feast incurred by Thomas ... Henry IV.," with marginal headings of "Receipt of Money," "Corn," "Meats," "Pigs," "Capons and Pullets," "Spices," "Small necessaries" Under the heading of "Capons and Pullets" there is a payment of 14d for corn for the pullets, c Under the heading of "Small necessaries" there is 7½d for 3 "quartys" of honey, 4d for "rysshyn" for the hall, 4d for fish for the cooks, 3d for the carriage of corn to the mill and back, 4d for "bultyng" the same, 3s the pay of the master cook, 2s the pay of the other cook, 18d the pay of 3 servants helping the cooks, 4d to a woman for washing the dishes, 3d for "vergeus," 3s for wine, 5d for washing the vestments, 6d for brewing four quarters of malt, c On the other side there are three entries.
