Will of Job Dighton, Clifford Chambers, Glos., esq. Ratifies disposal of estates according to trusts in deed of 16 September 1652 (DR 140/11) with further bequest of £200 to son Job. Pecuniary bequests £10 each to daughters, Anne Watts, Mary Frogmore and Elizabeth Chamberlaine £10 to each of children of Anne, Mary and Elizabeth £2 each to sons-in-law Francis Watts and John Frogmore for mourning rings £10 each to brother Thomas Dighton and sisters [Martha] Foot and [Sarah] Maris To son Job: arrears of annuity payable to testator from Loughborough, Leics. £100 debt due from Henry Rainsford bay horse, books, bedding and furniture in rooms at Temple To daughter Elizabeth "who married without my consent" - £500 to be in trust of son Henry and son-in-law Watts. Residue of real and personal estate including advowson of Clifford Chambers to trustees and executors until terms of will fulfilled, then to convey to son Henry. Executors: Henry Dighton, son; Thomas Dighton, brother. Overseer: Dr. Richard Baylie. Charity bequests: £5 to poor of Stratford £2 to poor of Clifford Proved in P.C.C. 15 November 1660.
