Mortgage from Marmion Edward Ferrers of Baddesley Clinton, esq., to Compton Gerard Ferrers, Great Western Hotel, Paddington, esq., of lands in Baddesley Clinton, Rowington and Lapworth (specified in detail) already in mortgage to Parnell Robert Maillard and Thomas Pulvertoft Thirkill (DR 422/100) and to George Netherton Harward (DR 422/103-4) to secure £3,000. Endorsed: i) 26 July 1876 assignment of mortgage from Compton Gerard Ferrers to Edward Heneage Dering of Baddesley Clinton, Knowle, esq., and Henry Ferrers Croxon of the Lawn, near Oswestry, co. Salop., esq., for £3,000. ii) 20 March 1894: reconveyance from Henry Ferrers Ferrers (described in 1876 as Henry Ferrers Croxon) to the trustees of the settlement created by the will of Marmion Edward Ferrers, died 25 August 1884, for £2,000, the remaining £1000 having been quit-claimed by Edward Heneage Dering, after his marriage to Edward Marmion Ferrers' widow, Rebecca, by deed of 11 April 1890 ( DR 422/152.). Enclosed: agreement dated 20 September 1876, that of the money secured by the mortgage of 26 July 1876, £1000 only was the proper money of Henry Ferrers Croxon and £2000 the money of Edward Heneage Dering.
