Draft case for the Opinion of Counsel as to the steps necessary to perpetuate the evidence of the birth and baptism (both private public) of Henry Townsend, eldest son of Joseph Townsend and Louisa (née Barnard) sister and heir presumptive of Lord Willoughby de Broke. Henry Townsend was born at Lighthorne, 28 Jan 1827, privately baptised on 7 March and publicly on 15 April. There is no entry in Lighthorne registers and Bishops Transcripts at Worcester has entry of private baptism only.
