Covenant by Elizabeth Remington of Coventry, widow of John Remington, late of the same, maltster, Arthur Burberry of Kenilworth, tanner, and Hannah his wife, Samuel Malkin of Coventry, oilman, and Martha his wife (which said Elizabeth, Hannah and Martha are the daughters and co-heirs of Richard Dorwood late of Kenilworth, gentleman and Elizabeth his late wife, who was one of the daughters and devisee under the will of Hannah Lord late of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow), Hannah Harvey of Birmingham, (widow of Samuel Harvey late of the same, short cutler, and also widow of Josiah Coleman, late of Leicester, apothecary, and one of the daughters of the said Hannah Lord), Thomas Hooke of Birmingham, gentleman, and Hannah his wife (only daughter of the said Josiah Coleman by Hannah his late wife) and John Harvey of Birmingham, short cutler, (son and heir of the said Samuel Harvey by the said Hannah Harvey) to acknowledge by fine to William Hunt of New Inn, co. Middx., gentleman, the following: a farmhouse, yardland, three cottages and several closes in Great Wilmcote in Aston Cantlow and Little Wilmcote in Old Stratford, now in the tenure of James Perks; two messuages in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, in the separate tenures of Susannah Perks, alias Perkshouse, and Richard Grimmet; and a messuage and farm land in Wasperton in the tenure of William Sommers; to hold the same as perfect tenant of the freehold to the intent that a recovery of the said lands may be made by Thomas Huckell of Stratford-upon-Avon, grocer, to the following uses: as to the property in Great and Little Wilmcote, to the use of Bartlett Mason of Old Stratford, gentleman; as to the property in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, to the use of the said Susannah Perkshouse of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow; and as to the property in Wasperton, to the use of the said Elizabeth Remington, Arthur Burberry and Hannah his wife, and Samuel Malkin and Martha his wife.
