Probate of the Will dated 9 May 1758, of Frances Wells of Upper Brailes, widow. To cousin Ann Bickerstaffe, £39, left by late husband at her disposal. Nephews William Middleton of Tysoe, and John Middleton of Stratford, a guinea each. Nephews John and Richard Hall of Lower Brailes, nieces Ann Godson, Elizabeth Tombs, Sarah, wife of Richard Kew, Elizabeth, wife of Thos Wells. Residue to niece Ann. Witnesses: Francis Hall, Thos Wills and Jn Edkins. Proved at Worcester, 26 June 1761. Seal, obtuse oval. Prospect of the Cathedral below these arms. The See impaling two stars palewise, between three inescutcheons.
