Description

Gift from Gilbert de Biseg' of Baddesleg' to John de Bruli of a certain piece of cultivated land with hedges and ditches in Baddesleg'; that is the piece of cultivated land called Kingescroft lying beyond the Heyefield between the land which Richard Dolfin held on the one hand and the lane called Longelone on the other, and extending from the land held by the lords of Baddesleg' in demesne as far as the land held by Adam Ledet. The said John to hold the same freely rendering annually one clove at Christmas in lieu of all secular services, suit of court and demands. Consideration: 5 marks. Warranty clause. Sealing clause.
