Garrick letters: Hunt papers
Description
William Hunt to D. Garrick - enclosing a vote of thanks from the Corporation for his favour; 28 September 1767 [sic. for 1769] (f.34) - on the non-payment of his (Hunt's) loan of £100 to George Garrick and other expenses; 8 November 1770 (f.50) - on the same subject, and on the misrepresentations of Garrick's 'unbounded acts of liberality at Stratford'; 21 November 1770 (f. 52). These three letters, with Garrick's of 22 November, were purchased in 1863.
