Indentures of Lease and Release between Parke Goddard of the parish of St. Paul, Covent Garden, London, and Anne, his wife, of the first part, Sir Henry John Parker of Honington, Bart. of the second part, Chauncey Townsend of London, merchant of the third part and Joseph Townsend of New Burlington Street, London of the fourth part (reciting ER3/2012 and that there was then owing on the mortgage therein recited £3,525) whereby it was witnessed that Parke Goddard and Ann, his wife, in consideration of £3,525 paid to them by Joseph Townsend and of 5 shillings to them paid by Chauncey Townsend, conveyed at the direction of Sir Henry John Parker all their interests in hereditaments mortgaged by ER3/2012, except the hereditaments at Honington purchased by Joseph Townsend, to Chauncey Townsend in trust for Joseph Townsend, and also conveyed and assigned their interests and estate in the hereditaments purchased by Joseph Townsend to the said Joseph Townsend. Witnesses: Thomas Fletcher, John Rayner of Old Fish Street and James Cox, his clerk.
