Copy draft conveyance by Thomas Middleton, Middle Tysoe, gent., Frederick Francis Findon, Shipston-on-Stour, esq. and Frederick Hancock, Shipston-on-Stour, gent. (trustees of the will of John Henry Clark, Shipston-on-Stour, gent.) to John Shirley, Moreton-in-Marsh, gent., for £331 to Findon and Hancock and 10 shillings to Middleton of 1a 3r 32p land in Moreton, lately in the occupation of Joseph Wheatley, bounded on the N by the Oxford turnpike, on the S by land lately sold to Sarah Clark, on the W by the road to the church of Moreton and on the E by the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway. All which land formed part of the enclosure allotment of Robert Purser. Recitals 29 30 May 1836 Mortgage by Robert Purser, farmer, to Thomas Middleton, for £1000. 23 Feb 1843 Further charge of £500 to John Henry Clark. 20 Aug 1845 Will of John Henry Clark appointing Findon and Hancock trustees of mortgage and trust estates. 30 Dec 1848 Death of John Henry Clark. 16 July 1850 Auction of mortgaged lands at direction of Middleton, Findon and Hancock.
