Draft release by Francis Findon, Shipston-on-Stour, gentleman, John Cox, Halford, yeoman and Frances his wife, John Bickerstaff, Fulready, gentleman, Charles Wright, Halford, yeoman (nephew of John Cox) and Mary his wife (née Bickerstaff, daughter of John) to Jeffery Bevington Lowe, Ettington, gentleman, Robert Weston, Lambcote, Ettington, gentleman, and Simon Nicholls, Edgehill, Tysoe, innholder (as trustees) of messuage and 74 acres in Halford in trust for Charles and Mary for joint lives, then to mortgage or sell to raise £1000 (Mary Bickerstaff's marriage portion) and pay half to survivor and half among children of said Charles and Mary equally. Subject to mortgage of £900 to said John Bickerstaff. Remainder to John Cox and Frances his wife for lives, then to sell and pay sums as willed by John Cox. Recitals 1) ER12/39/7. 2) 6 7 April 1812. Purchase of other 2/3 property by John Cox and Findon from Richard Wattell and Catherine his wife. 3) 30 Oct 1812. Mortgage to John Bickerstaff for £900. 4) Agreement for payment of £1000 marriage portion to Charles Wright by John Bickerstaff. 5) Advancement of said £1000 by Bickerstaff with consent of Wright to Wright's uncle John Cox as above.
