Appointment by Richard Whytteley, Humphrey Jacob, Henry Jekes, Robert Vsgoby clerk, John Osberne and Thomas Hukyns of Thomas Hatte clothmerchant `pannarium' of Cobynton' as attorney to deliver seisin to Nicholas Metley and John Watson clerk of the manor of Baddesley Clynton' and the advowson of the church there, together with all lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, feedings, rents, reversions, services, wardships, marriages, reliefs, homages, escheats with all appurtenances belonging to the said manor. Sealing clause. Given at Baddesley 5 August 12 Henry VI [1434]. Seals placed tandemwise on two tongues: 1. Circular seal of red wax. 3/4 in. Between a feather and a line invect a shield per saltire with a circle at the point of intersection between the letters T and S surmounted by a ?cross between the letter D and three lines dancetty. 2. Circular seal of red wax. 1/2 in. A merchants mark 3. Rectangular seal of red wax 1/2 in x 1/4 in. A talbot courrant. 4. Circular seal of red wax. 3/4 in. see DR3/233, DR3/234 DR3/245.
