Description

Gift from Thomas de Clinton' lord of Baddesleye to Roger atte Fenne of Chaddeleswich' of one acre and one rood of land in Baddesleye lying in breadth between the land of Adam Steuenen and the land formerly belonging to Simon Henr' on the one hand, and the road leading from le hor' marleput towards the church of Baddesleye on the other, and extending in length from the road leading from le Whyte marlput as far as the spring of Baddesleye. To hold from the chief lords of the fee in meadows, commons and pasture, with the right to sell or assign the same, rendering due and customary service to the chief lords of the fee, and 5d. annually at the two usual terms in Baddesleye to the said Thomas, in lieu of all suits and services excepting foreign service for the king.
