Compton Verney: early deeds

Description

Grant by Sir Thomas Murdak, knight, lord of Compton Murdak to William Skinner ('Pelliparius') of Compton Murdak, Agnes his wife and William their son, one messuage with plot of land adjacent in the vill of Compton, which messuage and land lie between the bridge of Compton and the messuage of Alice Bridge ('ad the Brugge').

To hold the same with appurtenances and easements for their joint lives, rendering annually two shillings at Compton at the usual feasts, with suit of weekly court, excepting only foreign service.

William 'le Palfreour' of the same;
John Lucas of the same and others.
