A [writ directing an inquiry as to whether a person named in the writ has a mental health condition] dated 22 Dec 1773 with Inquisition held at Stoneleigh Abbey, 7 Jan 1774 as to the state of mind and possessions of Edward, Lord Leigh, a [person experiencing a mental health problem].

The Commission found that he had been a [person experiencing a mental health problem] for upwards of five years, but of what cause, other than visitation of God was unknown. His estates (detailed) were of an annual value of £12,000.
