Compton Verney: early deeds

Description

Gift by William of Studley, clerk to Richard of Chadshunt, clerk and Alice his wife, and the heirs of the said Richard, of a messuage with virgate of land in Compton Murdak, together John 'Scerhordi', William and Asser his brothers, and Isolda sister of the said John, Asser and William, serfs of William of Studley, together with their goods and chattels. Also one annual rent of sixteen strikes of corn, old measure, due at Michaelmas from William Durvassal for a hide of land. To hold for accustomed services.
