Compton Verney: early deeds
Confirmation by Robert, son of John Durvassal, of Compton Murdak, of grant to William of Studley, of one annual rent of two quarters of wheat, old measure, payable to William, his heirs and assigns at two terms, namely a quarter at Michaelmas and Lady Day, paying a halfpenny a year to Robert, his heirs and assigns.
Right to distrain for same upon four acres of the said Robert in Compton fields, of which one acre lies in 'Nordone' between land of the said Robert and land of William Murdak on the other and extends to Norsldade; another acre lie in 'suenacras' extending to 'seterpossacs', and two acres lying beside 'le Woldest'.
