Compton Verney: early deeds

Description

Agreement between William Murdak, lord of Compton Murdak, and Beatrice his wife and Robert Durvassal, son of John Durvassal of Compton Murdak whereby Robert grants to William and Beatrice twenty shillings rent in Compton Murdak due from Alice, widow, for fourteen years from Lady Day next at two terms of the year.

If said Alice becomes incapable within the term and fails to cultivate her land so that the rent is not collectable, then right to distrain from the lands of the said Robert.
