Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Robert, son of William Durvassal of Compton Murdak, to William Clerk of Gaydon, of twenty shillings annual rent due from a mesusage and virgate of land with appurtenances in Compton Murdak, which John Shepherd and Alice his wife hold of the grantor for their lives, together with the reversion of the said premises after the deaths of the said John and Alice for services due and accustomed to the chief lord of the fee.
