Grant by John Jones of Compton Murdak, to Humphrey Stafford, earl of Stafford, lord of Tonbridge and Cawse[?], Sir John Ky[n]gley, knight, lord of Brawndon, Sir Thomas Stale, knight, lord of Walton Stale, William Derset [as feoffees] and Richard Dalby of Brookhampton and the heirs and assigns of the said Richard, of all his lands, tenements and appurtenances in Compton Murdak, to hold to themselves and the heirs of the said Richard of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
