Assignment from John Clopton of Stratford-upon-Avon, knight, to his second son, Hugh Clopton of the Middle Temple, co. Middx., esq., of an annuity of £14 for the remainder of a term of 99 years; which annuity (under an Act of Parliament, 2 Queen Ann, 'for granting an aid for carrying the warr ... by selling annuityes') was purchased by Henry Forth of the Middle Temple, gent. for £210 on 16 September 1704, and was assigned from Henry Forth to Charles Cotterell of Furnivalls Inn, co. Middx., gent., on 8 May 1704 [sic], from Charles Cotterell to Richard Nicholls of St Clements Danes, co. Middx., goldsmith, on 3 September 1714, and from Richard Nicholls to John Clopton on 3 December 1714
