Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant

Description

Grant by Richard Prews of Balscote, Oxfordshire, to John Watton of Lighthorne, of one toft with curtilage and one and a half acres of land in the fields of Compton Murdak, formerly in the tenure of Gilbert Page and Beatrice Durvassall , and which said Richard holds by gift and feoffment of the said John Watton.

To hold of the chief lord of the fee for services due and accustomed.
