Compton Verney: early deeds, Compton Murdak, a grant
Grant by John Warde of Compton Murdak to John Wattes of Lighthorne, of all his lands, tenements and appurtenances in the town and fields of Compton Murdak, which he had by gift and feoffment of John Jones of Copmton, chaplain.
To hold the same to the said John Wattes and his heirs, of the chief lord of the fee, for services due and accustomed.
